The Urban CGC has no age limit but a CGC certification must be on record to enroll per AKC. It tests practical behaviors for dogs who live in and are tested in urban settings in their day-to-day life. This certification makes for a well-rounded canine and covers different topics than the AKC Community Canine.
We offer AKC Urban CGC-specific one-on-one training and testing. Owners wanting to pursue this certification should schedule either private or private in-home training for practice until the test is administered.
